COM: Abellius Lightsaber by JNetRocks COM: Abellius Lightsaber by JNetRocks
A change of pace from the GW2 items. :) Here's a lightsaber for ~abellius. It belongs to his character Kira Vellar. I really like his character design and drawing her weapon was a lot of fun!
Haven't done a lightsaber in a while. :3 Was nice to do one again.

Very cool! I imagine that fading from one end to another would be a striking style on many colors :)

If I had a lightsaber this would be it.  The blade color is super cool and super unique.

Hehe I've been working on pushing my quality a bit.  I tend to be too rough and sloppy so I want to learn to make it cleaner. :3

:D thanks!  I actually started with a 3D model to get the perspective and proportions right.  Since it takes like 3 minutes to make one up in 3DS max quick and then I can use it as a guide for making sure the blade is the right curve and all that.  It's a pretty simple technique that's helped me get a bit cleaner look.  :3
